My husband and I loved our stay with Jamie and her B&B for our honeymoon! The B&B itself is out in the country in a well-kept farmhouse. It's roughly halfway between Traverse City and Petoskey, providing a great home base for a weekend of exploration in northern Michigan. Our room, the Napa, was cozy and well decorated. We had our own en suite bathroom, a comfortable bed, and many creature comforts (my favorite was the wood fire-mimicking electric fireplace, which I'm currently trying to convince my husband we need). The room and B&B were clean and welcoming. Breakfast was always amazing! I dare you to find better, fresher fare at the trendiest brunch place in your town! They were also filling, setting us up for full mornings of exploration. Jamie can also accommodate special diets; just give her a heads up as she puts great planning and care into her cooking. Jamie also had great restaurant recommendations for the area. If you're looking for a great B&B experiece, the Applesauce Inn is it!

This was our first B&B experience and we had a great time. From good food and a gracious host the stay, it was like a home away from home. We also watched the hummingbirds on the wrap around deck for about an hour.

Jamie made us feel comfortable and safe during our stay! This was our second stay at Applesauce Inn and it was just as nice as we remembered. The breakfasts were delicious, our bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. Did a couple of takeout meals from Bellaire-once ate outside downtown, and once brought dinner back to enjoy out on the porch at Applesauce Inn. Highly recommend Applesauce Inn B & B!

The Applesauce Inn B & B was the perfect place for us to enjoy local Hiking, Biking, & Lake activities. The Inn is a beautiful traditional farmhouse that embodies all of the hospitality and beauty Bellaire and this area offers. We found it to be central to just about every point of interest possible. We really enjoyed the Bee Well Meadery for great mead and cider, which was one of the many spot on recommendations Jamie gave us. Jamie also made amazing breakfast every day and was able to accommodate for a food allergy. We will stay here again!!

We stayed here in December for our 20th Anniversary. It was magical! The farmhouse looked like a Christmas wonderland. Jamie is a great Innkeeper and fabulous cook! Our room was also magical, complete with a very comfortable bed, fireplace and Christmas tree! We highly recommend the Applesauce Inn!

We only stayed one night and we definitely plan to come back. We ended up getting a free upgrade with a private bath and fireplace. It was a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Jamie has a true talent for hospitality and she is a wonderful chef. She made the best breakfast we have ever had at any hotel or bed and breakfast. Very highly recommended.

Warm, inviting, cozy. Thoughtfully prepared breakfasts with special evening dessert treats. This is a must for everyone! The hosts are amazing and we've enjoyed the conversations. The Napa room was wonderful. Great location!! We will be back!!

We are return visitors, The Applesauce Inn in Bellaire MI is hands down the best!!! Our visit did not start off right, due to some vehicle problems, but thanks to Jamie’s Husband Gary and the staff at Bellaire Auto Repair, we got to spend a awesome time at the Applesauce Inn and got to go adventuring to see all the fall colors! We spent the past eight days with Jamie and what a amazing job she did!! The breakfasts every day were just OUTSTANDING and The Napa room is just amazing!!! This farmhouse is gorgeous! The grounds are beautiful to walk around, large wrap around porch. Located near some wineries and shorts brewing company. Fantastic location to pretty much go anywhere for the day...Traverse City, Charlevoix, Mackinac Island. Jamie was the most gracious host, very friendly and accommodating, full of great suggestions for places to eat and things to do pretty much anywhere you want to go. She also makes the most amazing breakfasts and desserts. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, slept like a baby! I simply cannot say enough great things about my visit at the Applesauce Inn. We will be going back for many years to come!

The Inn is incredible and the food is exquisite!! I looked forward each day to what scrumptiousness I would have for breakfast! The Inn itself is peaceful, basically in the woods, and decorated with antiques. The rooms are spacious with modern necessities.
